During Markoolio's powerful career spanning almost three decades, there have been sunbathing and swimming in Pinã Colada, going to the mountains and achieving more goals... The hits have succeeded each other, always gilded by Markoolio's liberating humor and self-distance. Markoolio is undoubtedly one of Sweden's most beloved artists and he wears the epithet folkkär with great pride.

In 2023, his career took off further in TV4's hit program Marko & Irma, where he builds a house for his mother and shows that humor and lovability are great within the entire Lehtosalo family.

Markoolio has played several times in Furuviksparken, and the first time was early in his career. A large and young audience sang along to the sing-along that broke out. Markoolio, dressed in a silver suit, rapped for what mostly looked like seven-year-olds and their parents. It was bizarre yet charming to hear the entire audience shout: "bira, bira, bira-bärs, bärs bärs bärs!"

On May 10th, Markoolio returns to Furuvik's Stora Scen. And now the children who were there 25 years ago are old enough to drink bärs! It will be exciting to see if it is their children who take over the classic "bira bira bira – bärs bärs bärs" chant. Welcome!
