Formed in 1997 in Los Angeles, Flogging Molly consists of seven members who play everything from guitar and drums to violin, mandolin, accordion and banjo. They have a unique way of mixing punk with traditional Irish music, with room for both Celtic instruments and bluesy guitars.

The lyrics are often political based on the hard everyday life of the working class, but despite the seriousness, singer Dave King always offers a lot of humor in his priceless banter. On July 27 at 20.00 we welcome one of the world's most entertaining live bands when Flogging Molly steps out on Furuvik's Big Stage.
