Petter Alexis Askergren broke through in 1998 with his debut album "Mitt sjätte sinne" (My Sixth Sense), an album that not only became a commercial success but also marked a breakthrough for Swedish hip-hop on a broad front. With his distinctive voice, personal lyrics, and strong stage presence, he paved the way for an entire generation of Swedish rappers. That same year, he was awarded three Grammy Awards and was named Artist of the Year in both 1998 and 1999.

Since then, Petter has released a long series of acclaimed albums, including "Bananrepubliken", "P", "God Damn It", "En räddare i nöden", "Skeppsholmen", "Början på allt" and "Lev nu dö sen". With over 25 years in the spotlight, he continues to be one of the most respected and influential voices in Swedish music.

During 2025, Petter has also highlighted new talents through the project "Petter med Getter", where he has released new songs together with young rappers such as ADAAM and Imenella.

Friday, July 3rd at 8:00 PM is when Petter takes the stage at Furuvik for an evening filled with classic hip-hop tracks and new energy.
