Information regarding the coronavirus
Opening in a responsible manner
Due to the situation with Covid-19 Furuviksparken aims to open up our park in a responsible manner this summer. The safety of our guests and employees will always be our first priority and therefore we will introduce a number of safety procedures.
What does opening in a responsible manner mean?
Opening up responsibly means that we will introduce a number of safety procedures, such as increased cleaning protocols and regulation of distancing in queues. Even though we have permission to open, there is a great focus on doing so in a responsible way. We will take responsibility and ensure that our activities follow the latest recommendations of the Swedish Public Health Authority.
Pre-book your visit
For everyone's safety and security, we have a maximum number of visitors per day. To ensure this, you will now need to pre-book which day you want to visit us. When you buy tickets on the website you will now be able to choose which date you want to visit us.
Please note that you can no longer pay with cash in our parks.
What is closed and what is open?
The animal park - The animal park, with its 30+ species, is open and you are welcome to meet all our fascinating animals.
The amusement park - Because of government regulations the rides in our amusement park section are not open. The exception is this year's new ride, Draken (the Dragon) which is open for 50 people at a time with social distancing in the queue.
Animal viewings - To reduce crowding there will be no animal viewings this summer. Instead all guests are welcome to ask any questions to the employees stationed by the kangaroos, lemurs and the chalet (goats, sheep, etc.).
The adventure pool - When the weather allows the adventure pool is open for a limited amount of people. Please note that you prebook your visit to the pool when buying your ticket. Your pool visit will be within a chosen 2 hour time slot. Read more.
Draken - This year's new family attraction Draken (the Dragon) is open. Read more.
